Public Group Lessons
Arrow Addiction frequently hosts open group lessons for anyone ages 10 and up which are 2 hours long and include all the necessary equipment. These lessons have our cheapest rates by far. Group lessons are $15 plus HST per person. The capacity of these lessons changes seasonally between our indoor and outdoor locations. From Jan 1st to May 31st we operate at the Clarenville Farm and Market Building located next to the Clarenville Inn. During the summer months we will operate at the Nordic Ski Club of the White Hills Ski Resort.
We'll be announcing when and where these lessons are taking place both here and on our Facebook page. When they're posted, anyone wishing to participate must register and pay for their slot in advance. For these, we require 24-hours notice of cancelation. Anyone who is a no-show or cancels with less than 24 hours notice will not be given a refund and the fees are not transferable to our next lesson. Exceptions may be made (at our discretion) if extreme weather prevents you from travelling to one of these events.
Prices may vary depending on travel, venue fees, area specific permits, etc. If we are hosting lessons outside the Clarenville area. But our goal is to make these lessons something affordable you can do on a day out with friends and family; something that you can participate in frequently without breaking the bank!
We can also be booked for private venues to offer lessons as a birthday party, staff party, stag/stagget party, youth camp activity, etc. Typically this cost $300 plus hst for the lesson and $100 plus hst for setup and take down. If we are able to host multiple groups, without taking down our equipment, the setup fee is only charged once.
For example:
If a community recreational program books us for an event we would charge $100 for setting up and $300 per 2 hour lesson slot. If we are able to host multiple lessons that day the $100 isn't charged again. If we can leave our equipment setup overnight we can offer lessons the following day for $300 per lesson. However, if we are required to take down our equipment, then set it up again the next day, the $100 is charged again.
